Walking Woes...What Ails Ya?

Let's face it. As much as walking seems like it should be easy, we all have aches and pains from time to time (or all the time). Whether it's aching knees and hips or exhausted tired feet, backaches or allergies, it's always something.

For me it's my poor aching heels. How about you? Do you have any walking woes? Click the "comments" link below and tell us about it. Maybe we can help encourage each other to either keep on keeping on, or take some time to rest.

I personally feel that it's difficult to keep up with the "fitter" walkers, but that's because I'm carrying an extra watermellon around! lol

Just think how fit you'll be after you have the watermelon :)

I talked with Graham Johnstone today, orthopedic surgeon extraordinaire, and he said my heel could be either plantar fasciitis, a heel spur or a stress fracture. Grrr. I went out and bought some Aleve and Spenco orthotics at his recommendation and will be going into see him at his office sometime in August. He gave me some stretches to do in the meantime, so please pray for pain relief!!!
